McQueen for Women

McQueen for women is a British luxury fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen. Founded in London in 1992, the house joined the Kering Group in 2001. In 2010, Sarah Burton was appointed Creative Director, having worked alongside McQueen for over 14 years. Since December 2023, the house has been under the creative direction of Seán McGirr.

Since its inception, McQueen has been defined by its expression of individuality and subversive force. With roots in Lee Alexander McQueen's Savile Row training, the house pushes the boundaries of British tailoring traditions, emphasizing cut, proportion, and silhouette. Inspiration often comes from nature, British heritage, and contemporary culture, with a distinctive narrative interwoven throughout the house's collections and fashion shows.

McQueen became famous for his theatrical and innovative approach, with striking and often provocative shows, creating a sense of spectacle.
