• Blood orange essential oil has never been particularly prized in perfumery. But then our story intersected with that of Capua, a symbol of Italian excellence in citrus extraction since 1880, and everything changed. The Capua family, as passionate about perfume as we are, has created a two-stage extraction method. It's one of those secret masterpieces that appear here and there, especially in southern Italy, and its story deserves to be told. First, the concentrated, brown peel is extracted; then, when fully ripe, the whole fruits are pressed, passed through a fume extractor, and centrifuged to separate the essential oil from the juice.
• Thus was born our Arancia di Sicilia: the sublimation of a symbolic fruit, capturing the sunlight, colors, and aromas of the island on a spring morning. To allow you to appreciate both the sweetness and the energy of the earth's depths, we have added musk and amber at its heart and, to finish, an intense aroma of coffee absolute.
