Cartujano, the international vision of a local brand

The attention to detail and quality of materials Cartujano uses for its accessories captivated Santa Eulalia. Until the 4th September its male pop-up shop hosted a selection of boots and bags from this Majorcan brand, dedicated to lovers of well made things.

The shoemaking tradition of the Balearic Island and the inspiration from the equestrian world give form to the business' whole collection: a nod to the horses reared by the Carthusian Monks of Jerez in the 16th century. The designs of this firm were born in its workshops in Inca, Elda and Ubrique, before reaching the main European capitals like Madrid, London, Paris and Berlin. Carthusian, created by the Fluxá family in 1877, is the example of how Spanish handmade manufacturing is internationally excellent.
