BESPOKE TAILORING

1/ Taking measurements

The experience begins with a first appointment at our tailoring shop at 93 Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona. The tailor or shirtmaker will ask for your ideas about what the garment should look like, as well as when and how you'd like to wear it. In turn, the tailor will guide you and give you their point of view to ensure you get the result you want.

During this first appointment the tailor gets a clear idea of what type of suit or garment you're looking for and for what kind of occasion. Very often a businessman who's a frequent flyer doesn't have the same requirements as a creative director who wants an original suit to attend an event or a bridegroom who's looking for a wedding suit.

The tailor will then take your measurements and, with a critical eye, will observe your body shape to ensure the suit enhances your strengths and compensates for any critical points. You'll also receive advice on the cut of the garment, number of buttons, pleats on the trousers, type of pockets, lapels, lining and a host of other details. At each step, the tailor will guide you and offer suggestions to create a stylish garment you feel comfortable with.
