In March, the new Santa Eulalia store devoted to women is opened at Passeig de Gracia 60. The opening had to be delayed a few days in respect for the period of mourning for the death of Alfonso XIII in Rome.

Santa Eulalia opens at Passeig de Gracia 93 his second store focused in men’s fashion after closing the Pla de la Boqueria’s store.

Lorenzo Sans Roig, the third generation, joins the Santa Eulalia team.

Christian Dior’s first fashion show is held in Paris, unveiling the New Look wich revolutionises the fashion world.
1949
Santa Eulalia opens a store in Tangiers. In 1950, the collections from Barcelona are displayed at the Hotel Minzah and are enthusiastically acclaimed by the international colony.The store would close some years later.
